Dynamic QR codes for local businesses

A practical way to keep menus, review links, and promotions current without replacing your printed QR code.

Start with the customer action

Choose one action for each QR: read a menu, book an appointment, leave a review, or view an offer. A label such as ‘Scan to book’ tells customers what will happen before they open their camera.

Use a recognizable name in your dashboard, such as ‘Front counter — booking’, so you can find the right code when a link changes.

Create once, update the destination

A dynamic QR contains a managed redirect URL. The dashboard changes the destination behind that URL, so the same printed pattern can open a new page. Keep the destination relevant to the promise printed beside the code.

A static QR contains its destination directly. It is useful for a permanent link, but changing that link requires generating and printing a new code.

Put the code where the action makes sense

Place a review code near checkout, a menu code at the table, or a booking code on a take-home card. Give the code clear space and test the final print with more than one phone. Avoid glare from windows or overhead lights.

A physical Display is optional. You can also use downloaded QR artwork on flyers, packaging, or signs you already have.

Measure and improve

Pro scan analytics help you compare QR activity over time. Scans are not the same as completed purchases or reviews: use the destination platform’s reports to understand what happened next.

Start with one free dynamic QR code and unlimited static codes. Pro includes 30 active dynamic codes and analytics for $12/month or $120/year paid in full.
